New Hampshire police search for thief caught on camera stealing motorcycle

Police in Hampton, New Hampshire are searching for a thief who they say was caught on video stealing a motorcycle from a popular bar. The motorcycle was raffled off over Memorial Day weekend for a family affected by Alzheimer’s disease. Police say the motorcycle was stolen yesterday. Surveillance video shows someone getting into the Harley-Davidson at the L Street Tavern and leaving. “It’s just heartbreaking that this is happening,” said Jake Magro, owner of the L Street Tavern. “I can’t believe it. I feel horrible for the person who won.” The tavern says it was waiting for the winner to get the bike back when it was stolen. By the time Hampton police arrived, the thief was already heading to Seabrook, New Hampshire. Police attempted to arrest them as they headed toward Massachusetts. The case is currently under investigation and anyone with information is asked to contact the Hampton Police Department.
