PEQUOT LAKES — The Pequot Lakes Patriots boys and girls both finished second to Perham at the Pequot Lakes Invitational Track and Field meet on Thursday, May 23.

Ashley Slaybaugh (100 and 200 meters), Allison Gladen (100 and 300 hurdles) and Reese Laposky (high and long jump) each won two events for Pequot Lakes while teammates Amelia Davis (shot put) and Kayla Joyce (disc) also triumphed for the Patriots.

Will Taylor won the 110 and 300 hurdles for the Pequot Lakes boys, while Bode Eggena (high jump) and Riley Peters (discus) also took home first place.

The Patriots are scheduled to compete at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, May 29 in the Section 8-2A meet in Pequot Lakes and at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 1 in the Section 8-2A final in Cold Spring.
