Sacramento County traffic stop leads to hours-long standoff between deputies

(FOX40.COM) — The Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office is currently in a standoff after a man fled a traffic stop.

Tuesday evening, officers said a man who was arrested fled the scene on foot and is currently in a vacant apartment at 1100 Howe Avenue. The confrontation lasted several hours.

Around 10 p.m., police said the whereabouts of the suspects were unknown.
