Awesome Message from LeBron James for Boston Celtics’ Jaylen Brown After East Finals MVP Win

Jaylen Brown was recently named Eastern Conference Finals MVP after the Boston Celtics swept the Indiana Pacers. This prompted several players to congratulate the All-Star on his accomplishment, including Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James.

Last season, everyone criticized the Celtics for losing to the Miami Heat after the latter secured a playoff spot via the Play-In Tournament. This prompted Boston’s front office to revamp the roster, leading to the acquisition of veteran guard Jrue Holiday and big man Kristaps Porzingis.

The new Celtics team proved to be a beast as the team captured the best record in the league and the top seed in the Eastern Conference. It also set the stage for the NBA Finals as Boston eliminated the Heat, Cleveland Cavaliers and Indiana Pacers in succession.

For his part, Brown proved instrumental in Boston’s playoff run this year. Through 14 playoff games, the two-time All-Star forward posted 25.0 points, 6.1 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 1.1 steals per game. He also connected on 54 percent from the field, 36 percent from downtown and 63 percent from the free throw line.

Boston Celtics’ Jaylen Brown receives impressive message from LeBron James after winning East Finals MVP

Due to his impressive playoff run this year, Brown helped Boston return to the Finals after being defeated by Stephen Curry’s Golden State Warriors in 2002. At the same time, the league named him Finals MVP of the Eastern Conference, leading Lakers star LeBron. James to congratulate him on his official X account.

It remains to be seen whether Brown will perform at the same level in the NBA Finals. What is certain, however, is that Boston needs him if they want to win the championship this year.
