A 20-year-old girl was dealing with brutal heartbreak when she saw the light at the end of the tunnel thanks to her father’s comforting words. Fallon Thompson, a resident of the US state of Texas, shared screenshots of a lengthy message her father sent after their breakup in a TikTok post that went viral with over 18 million views.

Fallon’s father, Scott Thompson, witnessed his daughter’s breakup as her boyfriend ended the relationship in his driveway. After the TikTok post went viral, Fallon told Good Morning America, “After reading the first sentence, I was like, ‘Oh, this is something my heart needed.’ I think at that point he knew I just needed some uplifting words.

“So I kind of cried a little bit, and I was like, ‘Wow, no matter where my relationships take me in life, I know I’ll always have my dad and my family.’ This is the most important thing for me.

Scott, speaking to Good Morning America, added that as a father, “you just want to try to do something to help them ease their pain or at least do what you can to help them have perspective on this subject. »
