Booker T was caught off guard by Ethan Page’s WWE NXT debut

WWE NXT commentator and Hall of Famer Booker T was just as surprised as the fans when Ethan Page made his arrival for the golden brand.

Just weeks after his release from AEW, Page appeared on this week’s episode of WWE NXT and attacked reigning WWE NXT Champion Trick Williams.

On a recent edition of his “Hall of Fame” podcast, Booker spoke about Page’s surprise debut on the show. He said,

“It surprised me. I’m sitting at the table, and the next thing you know, Ethan Page hits the ring. His face comes up and we see who it is. I’ll tell you right now , I didn’t know Ethan Page was going to be there until it happened. That’s what was really cool about it, (there were) no leaks or anything like that. I didn’t even know Ethan Page was available. I thought he was still working for AEW… It was actually something I hadn’t seen in wrestling in a long time, as far as the boys were concerned. like ‘What’s going on here?’ So it was a great moment.

It was reported that Page had signed a contract with WWE. The All-Ego talent denied the claim but said WWE knew how to reach him.
