Teen mom Jenelle Evans’ co-stars’ shocking reactions to her return

It’s been several times since Jenelle Evans has been a member of the cast of Teen mom. She made a brief appearance for a party hosted by Briana DeJesus, but other than that she has been absent from the show. Yet when she announced her split from David Eason, fans had the theory that she would return. They thought his separation was insincere and only for his mental health. Rather, there were ulterior motives, like she wanted her son, 14-year-old Jace, back. Then she also wanted to return to her reality TV career and it seems to have worked for her.

Jenelle confirmed she will appear on the new season of The next chapter. She was first seen filming with Briana but was not present during the season premiere. That’s when Jade Cline married Sean Austin. However, she will show up at some point to discuss David’s departure and his issues with his mother. So, what does the rest of the cast think of Jenelle’s return? According to Ashley’s reality summaryreactions were varied.

Leah Messer didn’t want to say how she felt because Jenelle Evans just called her “two-faced.” As for newly engaged Mackenzie McKee, they form a new bond due to their divorces despite previously spewing venom:

“She contacted me and we exchanged numbers. I had never spoken to him or really met him (before). I think it’s because we both recently divorced. It’s kind of like where we connect. We divorced someone who kind of ruined what people thought of us, in a way. I take responsibility for my part. After overcoming my divorce and coming to the other side, and realizing how much better life and I had become, by loving myself, I encouraged (Jenelle) to do the same. So, we kind of exchanged that conversation, but that’s it.

So it seems Jenelle has an ally in Mackenzie outside of her friendship with Briana DeJesus. She also has Maci Bookout on her side who shared that she is happy to have Jenelle back. Although she knew the headlines that had been published, she also knew that they weren’t always completely factual.
