Good Morning Britain’s Richard Arnold announces he is leaving the show after a serious on-air mistake

Showbiz journalist Richard Arnold has laughed off a hilarious mistake on Good Morning Britain – which left him so embarrassed he said we would “leave” the show. As his segment began on Wednesday, June 5, Richard discussed the trailer for Bridgerton Season 3 Part 3 – which teases the continuing romance between Colin Bridgerton and Penelope Featherington.

At the end of the clip, Richard continued to say: “and just to wet your Ladydown Whistle” – rather than Penelope’s real pen name, Lady Whistledown. As Richard corrected himself, Susanna Reid couldn’t help but laugh hysterically. Richard added: “Well, it’s here forever!” before joking: “I’m going to leave now.” Meanwhile, co-presenters Susanna and Martin Lewis continued to laugh off-screen.

Richard was mortified by his Bridgerton mistake on GMB

Bridgerton viewers went wild when the trailer for the second part of the current season was released on Monday, June 3. The next four episodes of Bridgerton will be released on Thursday, June 13 – and it’s full of drama. The first part of the series saw Penelope finally reunite with her lifelong friend, Colin. However, it seems that the new romance is already in danger as Colin’s sister and Penelope’s former friend, Eloise (Claudia Jessie) threatens to reveal Penelope’s secret: that she is Lady Whistledown (or Ladydown Whistle according to Richard Arnold! )

The trailer for the second part of the series opens with the announcement of their engagement before Eloise manages to get Penelope alone, telling her: “Until he knows the real you, he won’t can’t love you.” Penelope is later seen telling Eloise: “Colin can’t find out my secret. Whistledown is power.” The trailer then suggests that Colin will indeed discover the truth, as a scene sees him wondering why his hands are covered in ink.

The sequence ends with a disturbing shot of Penelope turning to face Colin as he looks stern. Whereupon Dame Julie Andrews, who plays Lady Whistledown, says: “Despite the gossip, this author cannot tolerate a lie. » The series Bridgerton is known for its delicate love stories interwoven with a racy scene or two, and Nicola explains that during a season exploring her character’s love life, she asked to be “very naked.”

During an interview with Stylist, Nicola admitted: “I specifically asked for certain lines and moments to be included. “There’s a scene where I’m very naked in front of the camera, and that was my idea, my choice. It was like the biggest ‘f**k you’ of the whole conversation around my body; it was incredibly stimulating.”
