Beginning June 6, 2024, updates to the Disneyland Resort reservation policy will affect guests with Disneyland Resort vacation packages or room-only reservations.

The major change is that the full price of a vacation package now becomes non-refundable three days prior to arrival at Disneyland Resort for your vacation. Prior to this adjustment, the total price of a vacation package became non-refundable four days before arrival. This gives guests an additional 24 hours to cancel their Disneyland Resort reservation and still receive a refund.

The cancellation conditions, as well as the amount refunded in each scenario, are as follows:

For cancellations made 30 days or more before the traveler’s arrival, amounts paid (less cancellation fees assessed by third-party hotels or other providers, non-refundable Travel Protection Plan costs and other amounts due) will be refunded, subject to a 24-hour deadline. Reservation policy

For cancellations made between four and 29 days prior to guest arrival: amounts paid (less a $200 cancellation fee per package and less cancellation fees assessed by third-party hotels or other providers, costs non-refundable travel protection plan and other amounts due) will be refunded, subject to the 24-hour reservation policy.

For cancellations made three days or less prior to guest arrival or in the event of a no-show, the total package price (including Disneyland Resort admission tickets and all other package elements) is not refunded. refundable, subject to 24 hour reservation policy.

The Travel ePackage containing Disneyland Resort admission tickets, travel itinerary, and digital vouchers for Magical Extras will be delivered electronically to the guest’s linked MyDisney account three days prior to guest’s arrival instead of four days before the customer’s arrival.

Additionally, Disneyland Resort vacation package reservations are fully refundable within 24 hours of booking. However, this refund only applies if the reservation was made more than 72 hours before the displayed arrival time. This is called the “24 Hour Reservation Policy”.

Once a guest is within three days of arriving for their vacation, they can no longer make changes to their travel package, including Disneyland Resort admission tickets.

The major change to the rooms-only policy is that reservation cancellations can now be received four days prior to a guest’s arrival date in order for the guest to receive a full refund. Previously, guests had to cancel five days before arrival to receive a full refund. This gives guests staying in one room only an additional 24-hour window to receive a full refund.

If a guest does not cancel at least four days prior to arrival, they will be subject to a cancellation fee.

Any cancellation less than four days prior to arrival will result in a cancellation fee equal to the first night’s stay, plus taxes and fees (including, without limitation, taxes and fees imposed by the City of Anaheim), subject to reservation of 24 hours. Policy.

Guests who booked a Disneyland Resort room only can receive a full refund if they cancel their reservation within 24 hours. However, this only applies if the reservation was made at least 72 hours before check-in time.

These changes to Disneyland Resort’s reservation cancellation policy come after Walt Disney World Resort changed its room-only and vacation package cancellation policy earlier this year.
