How to use the Starfield Cheat Room

The Cheat Room is one of many new additions to Star Fieldand to find this wonderful sanctuary from sin we have a practical explanation of where to go and what to do.

Star Field‘s Cheat Room is part of Creation Studio’s long-running update, and in it, a veritable treasure trove of weapons and goodies awaits those who can find it.

As with most things, finding it can be tricky if you don’t know where to look. Fortunately, the information is out there and cheating has never been more acceptable.

How to find the Star Field cheat room

You can find the Star Field cheat room at the new starport Atlantisand it is on the main transport landing zone, secretly hidden in a large white container.

Before you get to that, though, there are a few hurdles you need to clear first, with credit to YouTuber SAMURAIYASUMA, courtesy of TikTok user @chris_thurman30:

1. Load Star Field and head to the main menu screen.
2. If you’ve updated it, you can now click “Creations” on the left side of the screen.
3. Choose the “Search” function.
4. Type in “Cheat Room” and Princess Mely Cheat Room should become available for selection and download.
5. Navigate to your latest save file, and if you’re not there already, navigate to New Starport Atlantis.
6. A white cube-shaped container should be at the left rear of your ship.
7. Go around and you should see a door, with the game now asking you the name of the container: Cheat Room.
8. Enter and you are now in the cheat room to engage in all sorts of fun activities.

If you are wondering what it contains, I can tell you: Beds to rest, all Workstations in Star FieldAI robots to test weapons, all weapons, armor and pretty much every element in the game.

It’s the ultimate playground to do whatever you want! Players have taken issue with the creation credits and their concept, but the cheat room is a great inclusion for Star Field.
