Angel Reese embraces her inner villain as she dons new ‘Joker’-inspired Reebok sneakers against Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever

Chicago Sky center Angel Reese appears to be fully embracing her nastier side in the rivalry between her and Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark.

Clark and Reese have been rivals on the court since their college days – which just recently ended – with Reese apparently seen as a “bad guy” in the relationship.

But instead of fighting that, it seems Reese is embodying it with a new pair of custom Reebok sneakers themed around comic book villain The Joker.

The sneakers, primarily purple and white, feature a bright green Reebok logo and a red midsole with Joker’s laugh text throughout.

On the toe of the right shoe, the sneakers even have the comic book villain’s mouth with a toothy smile.

This won’t be the first time Fever and Sky face off this season.

Earlier in the year, the Fever managed to pull out a one-point victory in a game that generated controversy when Clark was checked by Chennedy Carter.

The speech that followed led many people – including politicians – to try to find ways to protect Clark on the ground.

All eyes will be on Carter and Clark when they next meet, but fans around the league will also be looking forward to the next chapter of the Clark-Reese rivalry.
