IRONMAN 70.3 Mont-Tremblant prepares as ninth stop of the IRONMAN Pro Series tour

IRONMAN 70.3 Mont-Tremblant – the ninth stop on the IRONMAN Pro Series tour – will see a group of professional triathletes converge in Quebec, Canada on Sunday, June 23, 2024. The elite athletes will compete for a share of the total event US$50,000. professional scholarship and a maximum of 2,500 points towards the IRONMAN Pro Series ranking.

Free live coverage of Sunday’s event will be broadcast on multiple platforms for viewers around the world, including proseries.ironman.com, YouTube, Outside TV, DAZN and L’Equipe in France, among others.

Around 3,000 athletes from different age groups will compete alongside professionals on the same course, aiming to win qualifying places for the 2024 VinFast IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship on December 14-15, 2024 in Taupo, New -Zealand.

Located in the heart of the Canadian Laurentians, IRONMAN 70.3 Mont-Tremblant begins with a 1.9 km (1.2 mile) swim in Lake Tremblant, before taking athletes on a 90 km (56 mile) rolling cruise ) through the Laurentian mountains. Athletes will finish their race with a 21.1 km (13.1 mile) run which will end with a finish in the heart of the race village.

The race weekend will also include the 5150 Mont-Tremblant triathlon which will take place on Saturday, June 22. This race will include a 1.5 km (0.9 mile) swim, a 40 km (24.8 mile) bike ride, and a 10 km (6.2 mile) run. race organized on sections of the same IRONMAN 70.3 Mont-Tremblant course.

Participants registered for IRONMAN 70.3 Mont-Tremblant come from 36 countries, regions and territories, 11 Canadian provinces and territories and 40 American states. The 5150 Mont-Tremblant race will bring together more than 1,400 registered participants from 15 countries, regions and territories, 8 Canadian provinces and territories and 21 American states.

The top five countries represented at both events are Canada, the United States, France, Mexico and the United Kingdom.
