“I bought a TikTok boutique outfit but what happened shocked me – I looked like a year 8 in PE”

A woman ordered clothes on TikTok – and she claims it was a complete failure.

Megan Beasley posted a video to TikTok to show off exactly what she recovered. She may have thought it was a good deal at first, but turns out it was cheap for all the wrong reasons.

In the clip, she said ordering clothes from the TikTok store is a bit like “roulette.” You never know what’s going to land, which means you could get just about anything when the delivery arrives.

Megan called her latest crop a total shopping fail because she thought she was “very smart” by ordering a set of clothes on the cheap. She admitted she didn’t go for a well-known brand – she just thought the price was “really cheap”.

Although shopping on TikTok can sometimes be profitable, she admitted that it wasn’t at all profitable for her on this occasion. She showed people what a photo of the ensemble looked like, which included jogging-style shorts and a matching T-shirt.

It came in a neutral color. And at £18, she thought it would be the perfect airport outfit – both reasonably priced and comfortable.

That was until the outfit arrived, of course. Megan then showed off the shorts that had been delivered – and said the material made her look like ‘8th grade PE shorts’. She also noted that they were transparent and said they had a “very distinctive smell.”
