Trump spokesperson's one-word description of his message makes critics very, very confused

Critics questioned Donald Trump campaign spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt’s choice of word to describe the former president’s campaign style during an interview with Fox News’ Jesse Watters on Thursday.

Leavitt, while speaking about CNN’s first presidential debate between President Joe Biden and presumptive GOP presidential nominee Trump on June 27, suggested his boss’s message was one of hope.

Trump “is going to bring the optimism that he brought to the campaign trail over the last few months,” she said.

Internet users on X, formerly Twitter, however, said that Trump’s ramblings, his pessimistic view of the country and his attacks on his rivals were anything but positive:
