Chinese Premier Li Qiang ‘refuses’ to meet German vice-chancellor in Beijing amid trade war tensions

German Vice Chancellor Robert Habeck found himself “embarrassed” after arriving in Beijing, China, for a three-day visit on June 21. According to the German daily Die Welt, Habeck was unable to secure a meeting with Chinese Prime Minister Li Qiang.
