Vogue Williams Says Spencer’s ‘Terrible’ Mistake Made Her Consider Divorce

Vogue Williams spilled the beans on her husband Spencer Matthews on Tuesday morning, revealing the “absolutely horrible” blunder he made six months ago that left her considering divorce.

The TV presenter and podcaster began her first of four days at Virgin Radio UK on Tuesday morning, replacing fellow Irish star Ryan Tubridy in London, who is on summer holiday.

Vogue was due to take over from Ryan on Monday but was left speechless after attending Glastonbury, with Steve Denver standing in for him.

Referring to his absence on Monday’s show, Vogue asked listeners to “blame Coldplay at Glastonbury.”

Playing a medley of hits from Sabrina Carpenter to Kings of Leon, Vogue encouraged listeners to text while she addressed the topic of “ridiculous” arguments with your significant other.

The idea was born out of an argument Vogue had with her own partner Spencer on Monday night after the former Made in Chelsea star used Vogue’s “very expensive face cream”.

She explained: “I was lying in bed. I had the mask on. I had the earplugs in, and my husband got in bed next to me and I started sniffling, and I said to him, ‘Did you use my expensive face cream that I don’t even use on myself every day?’ and we ended up arguing about it.”

Elsewhere in the show, Vogue revealed a hilarious, if not embarrassing, gaffe her husband made in front of her when he thought he had “found this (Irish) band amazing”.

“I was like, ‘Wow! Who is he trying to find?’” Vogue shared, before responding, “The Cranberries.”

“He thought he had found The Cranberries. He was absolutely delighted with himself and I was like, ‘This is divorce territory here. This is absolutely horrible.'”

Vogue replaces Tubridy for the week while fellow Irishwoman Angela Scanlon will take the reins from Monday to Friday next week.

Ryan began his radio hiatus with a trip back to Dublin to join fans at the Aviva Stadium for the first of Taylor Swift’s three nights on her The Eras tour.

The presenter was greeted by adoring fans, with groups of young girls giving him friendship bracelets.
