Awkward J. Lo and Ben Affleck moments that were caught on camera

The Grammy Awards – music’s biggest night – is an important event for those in the industry, and many consider attending one of the best nights of their lives. But for Ben Affleck, attending the 2023 Grammys seemed like one of his worst nights.

Apparently reluctantly, Affleck attended the awards ceremony with Jennifer Lopez. During the show, host Trevor Noah sat next to the couple to do a bit before introducing the next segment. Lopez and Affleck didn’t appear to know they were being filmed at the time, as the two bickered. Once Lopez realized she and her husband were being filmed, she lightly tapped him to make him stop and they both changed their facial expressions.

Unlike most of Bennifer’s awkward moments caught on camera, Affleck had the opportunity to explain himself for the uncomfortable Grammys ordeal. “I had a great time at the Grammys…I saw (Grammys host Trevor Noah approaching) and I was like, ‘Oh, my God.’ They were flanking us in this photo, but I didn’t know they were rolling. I leaned over to her and said, ‘As soon as they start rolling, I’m going to get away from you and leave you sitting there. Trevor’s side.’ She says, ‘You better not leave.’ It’s a husband and wife thing,” Affleck told The Hollywood Reporter.
