Shanti is now open for lunch

Shanti on Dot. Ave has announced that they are now open for lunch from 12pm – 3pm, offering delicious weekday lunch specials!

Get creative at Stitch House

Stitch House has announced a new workshop where you make a quilt from old t-shirts! You need very basic sewing experience to make this quilt a reality, and the Stitch House staff is here to help. Bring 20-30 shirts and work on creating an amazing quilt. $100 covers two sessions and the materials needed to support your t-shirt squares. Saturday July 13 and August 3, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. You can learn more here!

Listen up, Orange Line commuters

MBTA reminds riders that Orange Line service will be suspended daily between Gare du Nord and Wellington from June 24 to 30. Riders are encouraged to consider the Haverhill Commuter Rail Line for free service between Oak Grove, Malden Center and North Station. Regular fares must be purchased beyond Oak Grove. Take a Community Power Yoga class at Open Doors Dorchester

Enjoy a community Power Yoga class for only $7! This vinyasa flow is both active and challenging, mixed with different yoga styles designed for all levels of students and takes place on Thursdays at 12 p.m. Each class has an open flow and different sequence and is taught in a heated space.
