About the DCSP Grant
In 2003, the Georgia The General Assembly established the Dog and Cat Reproductive Neutering Support Program to subsidize spaying and neutering procedures for dogs and cats. This initiative gave birth to the Dog and Cat Sterilization Program (DCSP), supervised by the Georgia Department of Agriculture. Funding for the program is currently generated through the sale of designated dog and cat license plates. These specialty plates can be obtained at local tag offices or through contributions made through the Georgia Tax filing process.
