Hollywood Walk Of Fame Announces 2025 Honorees

The Hollywood Walk of Fame looks to the future as it prepares to honor the prestigious Class of 2025.

On Monday, the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce announced next year’s selections to receive a star on the legendary Hollywood Boulevard promenade, including Jane Fonda, David Beckham, Fran Drescher, Alan Cumming and the late Prince.

In addition to Fonda, the 2025 film honorees include John Carpenter, Jessica Chastain, Bill Duke, Robert Englund, Emilio Estevez, Colin Farrell, Nia Long, Lisa LIu, Glynn Turman and Toni Vaz.

Television winners include Drescher, Lauren Graham, Bill Nye, Molly Shannon, Sherri Shepherd, Courtney B. Vance, Chris Wallace and South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone, will be honored during a double ceremony.

Other artists who received an honor include Fantasia, Depeche Mode, Los Bukis, The B-52s, Green Day, The Isley Brothers, Busta Rhymes, George Strait, Keith Urban and WAR.

Cumming and Misty Copeland were selected as theater honorees, with Beckham and Orel Hershiser honored for sports and Adam Carolla receiving a radio honor.

Hollywood Chamber of Commerce President Steven Nissen announced the honorees Monday during a live press conference with Walk of Famers Niecy Nash, Joe Mantegna and Jimmy Jam.

“Each honoree truly embodies the essence of excellence in their respective fields,” said President Peter Roth.

Although honorees have been chosen to receive a star, it is not guaranteed that they will receive this honor. Each winner will have two years to plan their ceremony before their selection expires.

The Chamber’s Walk of Fame selection panel selected the new honorees, which were then ratified by its board of directors.
