WOMEN’S RESTORATION FORUM ANNOUNCES NATIONAL LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT WORKSHOPS TO HELP WOMEN BUILD COURAGE AND TAKE RISKS

DALLAS, June 27, 2024 /PRNewswire/ — Women in a wide range of roles across all segments of the restaurant industry will explore and develop their leadership capabilities, with impactful sessions on how to take risks and share your unique value. These one-day workshops will also provide women with a safe community where they can connect with peers and mentors.

More than a decade ago, WFF launched its Leadership Development Workshops (LDW) which have proven useful in helping women discover new tools to advance their careers. LDWs provide participants with an exceptional way to accelerate learning through robust professional development and networking delivered with minimal time away from work and family. This full-day immersive experience includes two professional development sessions focused on core leadership skills, a leadership exchange panel with industry leaders sharing their insights, and coordinated networking opportunities over breakfast and lunch for in-person participants. Individuals can also attend virtually and all participants will benefit from on-demand access to content following the workshops.

With over two decades of experience in learning, development and human resources, Courtney Ramsey will guide participants in making a superpower discovery, clarifying their unique value and developing strategies to intentionally harness their abilities to increase impact and accelerate progress.
  • Improve your confidence to lead
    According to research, courage is an essential leadership quality. But when emerging leaders view rejection, humiliation, or failure as potential consequences, they may struggle to act courageously. The founder of The Can-Do Company and author of A Guide to Courage for Cool Girls, Candace Dobywill guide participants on how to leverage their personal courage to express themselves, take more risks, and own their talent at work.
