Bike Safety Classes for Kids offered by Cold Spring Police

The Cold Spring Police Department offers a bicycle safety class for children on Wednesdays in July.

Participants will be able to navigate obstacle courses designed to improve their driving skills and safety.

The following dates and locations are planned:

• July 3: Friendship Park, 5589 E. Alexandria Pike
• July 10: Sunshine Park, Granite Spring Drive/Sandstone Ride in the Granite Springs subdivision and Founders Court.
• July 17: Patriot Park, located on Ridgepointe Drive in the Glenridge subdivision.
• July 24: Municipal Park, 5694 E. Alexandria Pike near the Amphitheater.

Participants need:

• Bike
• Secure shoes
• Helmet
• Tutor

No registration is required.
