Part One: Steve Fishman is an award-winning journalist and author for his magazines and podcasts. As a staff writer at The New Yorker, he was known for tackling topics that were impossible to talk about. He joins Richard Syrett (Twitter) to discuss his podcast The Burden, how he came to Son of Sam in prison, and why Bernie Madoff opened up to him.

Second half: Dr. Jeff O’Driscoll exists to help souls heal. As an emergency room doctor, he received messages that helped him treat patients with diagnoses he hadn’t expected. When a patient died, they would sometimes see their spirit leave their body. Dr. O’Driscoll will discuss the shared death experiences he has had with patients and his encounters with the spirits who frequent the emergency room.
