The poll also reveals that if the elections were held today, 48% of voters would have chosen Donald Trump, 78% while only 42% would have voted for Joe Biden.

NEW YORK, USA | TASS | About 70% of Americans believe Joe Biden, 81, is too old to serve as president, according to the poll conducted by The New York Times and Siena College.

According to the poll, 69% of respondents strongly agree that Biden’s age does not allow him to be an effective leader. Meanwhile, 45% of Americans said his age is a very serious problem and that Biden is unfit to perform his duties.

The poll also found that if the election were held now, 48% of voters would have chosen Donald Trump, 78% while only 42% would have voted for Biden.

The poll took place from June 20 to 25 and covered 1,225 people with a margin of error of 3%.

The US presidential election will be held on November 5. Trump has already received enough delegate votes to be nominated as the Republican candidate. Current President Joe Biden has also received enough delegate votes to be nominated as the Democratic Party candidate. So this election will have the same candidates as four years ago, when Biden defeated Trump, who was running for re-election.
