BETHANY Platt makes a shocking discovery about her stolen credit card in the Coronation Street mystery.

The character – played by Lucy Fallon – was left disturbed after discovering someone had used her old company credit card without her knowledge.

She was able to find copies of her statements to confirm that she had not used them herself.

Eyebrows were raised further when attorney Joel Deering offered to give him legal advice on the situation.

In upcoming Coronation Street scenes, Bethany shows Lazaret’s company credit card statement to Shona.

Shona spots a transaction in a supermarket and suggests it might be a ‘click and collect’, and that she should call them in case there is CCTV footage.

What or who will Bethany discover?

A few Coronation Street Fans suspect that the person in question will be Lauren Bolton, who has been missing since the beginning of this year.

However, others are convinced that Joel (Calum Lill) is actually behind these fraudulent actions as part of his double life.

While Weatherfield residents are unaware of Joel’s involvement in Lauren’s disappearance, Corrie viewers are fully aware of what he is doing.

So when a viewer approached X and asked, “Who stole Bethany’s credit card that she shouldn’t even have?” ”, many responded by name.
