A Ford Focus was driven on two wheels during a “demonstration of professional skills” in Russia.

The helmeted officers were in a plank position on the ground as the vehicle spun, with the car supposedly clearing the officer’s head.

But the Ford Focus “did not have enough speed” and landed on an officer named Alexei, 48.

The wheel appeared to hit his helmet and he was pinned under the engine.

“The scene got out of control and the police Ford crashed directly into the officer,” SHOT reported.

The police officer suffered a broken leg, a dislocated finger and back injuries, according to reports from the Ivanteevka waterfall in the Moscow region.

The injured man was rushed to hospital where “his life is not in danger.”

A spokesman said: “During a demonstration of professional skills at the Professional Training Center of the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in Moscow, an accident occurred.

“As a result, one of the employees was injured.

“He received medical assistance.
