Armed DC hijackers caught on camera

Washington DC — Authorities are asking for the community’s help in identifying suspects involved in an armed carjacking in the Northwest.

On Friday, June 21, around 11:30 p.m., the victim was in his vehicle in the 1200 block of Vermont Avenue, Northwest, when several suspects approached. One of the suspects entered the vehicle, brandished a handgun and ordered the victim to get out. The victim complied and the suspects fled with the vehicle, which has since been found.

Nearby surveillance cameras captured the suspects.
