Broward offers free bus rides to Panthers parade

FORT LAUDERDALE, Florida. – Broward County Transit announced Friday it will offer free bus rides all day to the Florida Panthers’ Stanley Cup championship parade on Fort Lauderdale Beach on Sunday.

“In addition to free fares, BCT is increasing bus service on routes 11, 36 and 40 for parade participants and providing express bus services from the Heron Garage near the Broward County Convention Center,” a press release states of Broward County Transit.

The agency also offers express services from Heron Garage to Harbor Drive on Sunday.

“This will provide additional convenience to attendees, allowing them to park their vehicles in the Heron car park (parking fees may apply),” the statement said.

Express buses will run from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. and from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
