CJ Stroud stops in Morocco with former Ohio State teammate Justin Fields

Where hasn’t Houston Texans quarterback CJ Stroud been this offseason, and how much room is left on his passport for stamps?

Stroud, who just took Houston back to the playoffs for the first time in four years, was recently spotted this week in Morocco working with young players at the FlexWork football camp alongside his former Ohio State teammate and current Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Justin Fields.

Quincy Avery, Stroud and Fields’ private quarterback coach, also attended the event, working drills with the next generation of passers.

At this point, Stroud has traveled to four continents since the start of the offseason in February. After scoring a few buckets against Dallas Cowboys star Micah Parsons during the NBA All-Star Game in Indianapolis, Stroud teamed up with the defender for a post-draft tour of Asia.

During their trip, Stroud and Parsons visited China and Japan while participating in youth soccer groups. And after all that, Stroud had time to travel to France to train with Stefon Diggs before attending Paris Fashion Week.

Stroud received a lot of praise this offseason after his outstanding rookie season that earned him Offensive Rookie of the Year honors. Still, fans want to see progression, so training while Stroud is away from the practice field is a must.

So far, Stroud’s work ethic has been his backbone and a big reason why many believe he is going to have a breakout year. Although young athletes can sometimes be content with the hustle and bustle of life, that doesn’t seem to be a problem for NRG Drive’s second-year passer.

Stroud and the Texans return to the field for the start of training camp in mid-July in preparation for the Hall of Fame game against the Chicago Bears on Aug. 1 in Canton, Ohio.
