Shifty Shellshock’s Family Breaks Silence on Crazy Town Frontman’s Death: ‘Our Hearts Are Broken by His Loss’

As we previously reported, the 49-year-old singer, whose real name was Seth Binzer — died Monday at his home in Los Angeles of an accidental drug overdose. In a statement obtained by The sun On Saturday, they shared that the rock star’s “greatest accomplishments” in life were his three sons — Halo, GaugeAnd Phoenix. The family continues:

“For Seth, the world was art – he loved every aspect of it, from music and fashion to graffiti, skateboarding and his hometown of Los Angeles. He loved his three boys more than anything, and his dedication to his music and his fans never wavered. »

Those close to him later acknowledged his struggles with addiction – something he has been open about over the years. They said:

“Seth struggled with addiction throughout his life, and did so on a very public stage, which was particularly difficult. God knows he tried his best to overcome his demons, but unfortunately, he lost his battle. Our hearts are broken by his loss. Seth’s larger-than-life presence touched so many people. Seth was a troubled soul, but he was handsome and he had a heart of gold. »
