‘Indian bowlers found guilty of…’: UP Police releases witty message for Rohit Sharma’s Men in Blue after World Cup victory

Like every proud Indian, the Uttar Pradesh Police also congratulated the Rohit Sharma-led Indian team for the phenomenal T20 World Cup victory against South Africa. However, the police did not adopt the conventional way of displaying a congratulatory message!

The Indian cricket team, led by skipper Rohit Sharma, regained the T20 World Cup trophy after 17 long years after beating South Africa by seven runs in the final in Bridgetown, Barbados on Saturday.

In a witty post on X (formerly Twitter), the UP Police shared an image that read, “BOW(LED) to brilliance.”

However, the caption for this clever post was even better!

UP police said the Indian bowlers were found “guilty” of breaking the hearts of South Africans, and sentenced them to “the love of their fans for life”.
