Qasim’s father Junaid said his son was exceptionally bright and a constant source of help in their daily lives. “My son was very intelligent and helped me with every task. From now on, every moment will remind me of him,” said the inconsolable father. Shifa’s mother Razia said her daughter was full of life and had many dreams to fulfill. “She said I will study hard and help us get through the hardships. Now, all the dreams have gone with her,” she laments. Gulafshan, Shifa’s elder sister, said the siblings shared a close bond. “We played together.
