Israel’s war on Gaza is live: no progress in talks as fighting rages in Shujayea | Israeli-Palestinian conflict News

Protests in Israel took place in 80 different locations, with demonstrators calling for immediate elections and the resignation of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Tens of thousands of people gathered in Tel Aviv for the weekly demonstration, but we also saw thousands in West Jerusalem, outside the Israeli Prime Minister’s house. The police have now forcibly removed these protesters, some of them very violently, and have arrested several in West Jerusalem.

According to a new poll by Israel’s Channel 12, two-thirds of respondents want Netanyahu to retire from politics. Sixty-six percent of Israeli voters also want a change in the Israeli government.

These protests have been going on for months and the demands are only growing. The demonstrators are demanding an agreement for the return of the last Israeli prisoners, the resignation of Netanyahu and an end to the war.

The organizers of these protests say they will continue until their goals are achieved. But Netanyahu says that until there is absolute victory, the war will continue.
