HostColor.com Announces Bare Metal Edge Servers with Daily and Weekly Contracts

HostColor.com, a global Cloud and Edge Server hosting infrastructure, has introduced flexible Bare Metal Edge Server contracts in 50 Edge data centers in the United States and internationally.

Three standardized, cloud-ready bare metal server configurations are available across all U.S. and international data centers.

The first entry level Edge Dedicated Server The configuration is based on the Intel Xeon Silver 4210 processor with 128 GB of RAM and 480 GB of SSD storage. The other two standardized Edge Server hosting plans are based on the Intel Xeon Gold 6226R and Intel Xeon Gold 5218N processors.

The second Edge configuration includes a bare metal server with two Intel Xeon Gold 6226R processors (2x), 256 GB of RAM and a 2.4 TB NMVe storage array.

The third bare-metal configuration includes a dual (2x) Intel Xeon Gold 5218N processor, 384GB of RAM, and a 10TB storage array, including four (4x) 1.92TB SSDs and two (2x) 1.6TB NMVe drives.

HostColor customers have the option to choose from the following Linux distributions: Ubuntu 22.04, Ubuntu 20.04, Rocky Linux 9, Rocky Linux 8, Debian 12 and Red Hat Enterprise Linux versions 9.3, 9.0, 8.5 and 7.9 are available for selection. Bare Metal Edge Servers are designed for organizations that need private cloud infrastructure and data protection with custom firewall policies and local storage. They are also ideal for organizations that need to be able to deliver public cloud services over a high-performance network with network latency between 1 and 5 milliseconds in a selected local metro market.
