Munich – Lena Meyer-Landrut: concert canceled due to kidney problems

Singer Lena Meyer-Landrut had to cancel her performance in Munich at short notice due to stomach and kidney pain. “I hadn’t been feeling well since the day before, then in the evening I had cramps in my stomach and kidneys, I had to hand it over to someone just before the show and was then taken to a clinic,” the 33-year-old wrote on Instagram on Sunday.

His performance at the Tollwood Festival in Munich was canceled at short notice on Saturday evening. According to a spectator, the audience was waiting for the singer and her band to perform when it was announced that it would take longer because someone had collapsed. Lena was – after the performances of singers Tom Twerski and Leony – the main actor of the evening.

Shortly after, a woman came on stage and announced, without giving reasons, that the concert would have to be canceled. “It drives me crazy that you waited so long and had to leave disappointed,” Meyer-Landrut wrote on Instagram. “My conscience bothers me, but my body said no.”

The 33-year-old is currently on tour with her new album “Loyal to yourself” and was due to perform in Wangen im Allgäu on Sunday evening. “I’m resting now and doing everything I can to play the show tonight for you!” she wrote.
