Muhammad Ali’s grandson Nico Ali Walsh claims he was offered a multi-million dollar contract to fight Jake Paul.

Ali Walsh battled through a dislocated shoulder to avenge the only defeat of his professional boxing career against Sona Akale on Saturday night. The grandson of a legend shook his arm and punched his shoulder in the final round in an attempt to put it back in place before winning on points.

The 23-year-old said after his victory: “I want everyone to know that I chose the path of boxing and I chose the path of legacy. If I wanted to, I could be millionaire now. Before this fight, I turned down a multi-million dollar contract from MVP Promotions to fight Jake Paul and I’m fighting a real fighter tonight.

“I’m not part of this circus boxing league. This is the real boxing league. This is what I’m gonna do.” Paul was quick to respond to Ali Walsh’s comments, tweeting: “Lol exactly. His whole argument here is against him. I tried to fight this fraud and now he’s admitted he dodged me but called me a circus act.

“I had a decision tonight because of his last name. Shake your head.” This isn’t the first time Ali Walsh has clashed with YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul, who also called out Biaggio, Ali Walsh’s MMA fighter brother. Paul will fight former UFC star turned bare-knuckle boxing champion Mike Perry next month after his controversial fight against Mike Tyson was postponed.

Paul admitted he was taking a big risk by potentially jeopardizing his fight with Tyson if he lost to Perry on July 20. Tyson pulled out of the fight after battling a stomach ulcer flare-up and Paul gave an update on the fight, telling the New York Post: “If Tyson wants it, I’m in. The keys are in his hands.

“We’re not Mike Tyson’s father. We’re not his boss. If Mike Tyson wants to fight, it would be my honor, and I’m ready to do it. He’s ready to go; he just needed a few weeks, so he’s back in training. We’re all praying and hoping that everything is okay and that he stays healthy.
