Chile from Jordan

Named after basketball legend Michael Jordan, Chile from Jordan is making waves by being true to its heritage.

On the first day of trials, she posted an overall score of 56.400 to place second, and after the final day, she posted a 111.425 to finish third behind Olympic champions Biles and Lee.

Chiles became popular on social media thanks to her larger-than-life personality and fun dancing. She even entertained the Target Center crowd throughout the competition, including getting an entire section to their feet to Partying in the USA since the first day. Fans were delighted that the 23-year-old signed her name for Paris.

Hezly Rivera

Newly 16 years old and in his first year of high school, Hezly Rivera is set to become the youngest member of this Olympic team.

In February this year, she won a bronze medal in the all-around competition at the Winter Cup behind Kayla DiCello And Skye Blakely, both injured before the trials and unable to compete.

Rivera trains at WOGA with coach Valeri Liukin, father and former coach of the 2008 Olympic all-around champion Nastia Liukin.

There, she trained alongside the 2012 Olympic all-around champion. Gabby Douglas and last year she told Olympics.com: “It’s crazy because (Douglas) gives me so much advice and encouragement.

“It’s nice to have an older gymnast who’s been through it all,” she continued. “They know everything. It’s amazing.”

Jade Carey

Olympic floor exercise champion at Tokyo 2020 Jade Carey is determined to compete in her second Olympic Games.

In Tokyo, she competed individually outside of the U.S. team, and in addition to her gold medal on floor, she finished in eighth place in the all-around and vault.

After the two days of competition in Minneapolis, she finished in fourth place with a two-day score of 111.350.

In 2022 she won the world title on vault and in the team competition and in 2019 she won world silver on vault, just like in 2017. Her floor exercise at the trials was the very last of the competition, and all the other gymnasts were right next to the floor, cheering her on before receiving a standing ovation from the audience as soon as her music ended.
