Theresa May leaves a message on a doorbell during an election campaign in Scotland

Theresa May left a message on a doorbell camera while canvassing in Scotland.

The footage shows the former prime minister standing outside the gate of a property on a residential road in the Perth and Kinross-shire constituency.

Wearing a light blue scarf and navy blazer, Ms May is seen greeting passing residents.

They shout at her, “Nice to see you Theresa,” to which she replies, “Nice to see you,” before adding, “It would be even nicer if you supported Luke.”

After ringing the doorbell and receiving no response, Mrs May looks towards the front door camera and says: “My name is Theresa May and I am here to support Luke Graham, the Conservative election candidate 4th of July general elections.

“Since you’re not here, I’m going to put a flyer under your door. »

Luke Graham is the Conservative candidate in Perth and Kinross-shire.

Mr Graham was most recently the Conservative MP for Ochil and South Perthshire and left the House of Commons in November 2019.
