The new Paris Saint-Germain away jersey

THE Paris Saint Germain is the first major European club to complete the range of Home and Away jerseys. The Home jersey, unveiled in May, remains faithful to the tradition of the Parisian club. The same goes for the Away jersey, a clear homage to the 1990/91 and 1991/92 seasons, a historic period when PSG was not the same team as it is today: it only had one National Championship in its trophy cabinet. More precisely, the player jersey is inspired by those worn during the 1990/91 And 1991/92 seasons. The two stripes that run across the jersey, recalling the club’s traditional colours, form the silhouette of the Eiffel Tower, the city’s most iconic monument. Although the Home and Away versions differ significantly from each other, they are united by the brush effect that adorns them.

The choice to use this effect is not random. Nike And Paris Saint Germain have once again chosen not to stray from the city’s tradition, refining the design with the brushstroke effect, a stylistic choice clearly inspired by Paris’ vibrant urban art scene. While the away jersey features the brushstroke effect in the Eiffel Tower design, the home match jersey highlights the iconic “Hechter” stripe running vertically across the entire front, reimagined in a contemporary version, a crucial detail in defining PSG’s visual identity.

The Paris Saint-Germain 2024/25 Away jersey is available from July 3 on the club’s website as well as on the Nike website and app.
