The “Hawk Tuah” Girl Reveals She Was NOT Fired From Her Job As A Teacher, Was Offered $600 To Spit In A Jar

She’s finally speaking out.

Over the past couple of weeks, there hasn’t been a more viral person online than the “Hawk Tuah” girl.

Hell, she might be the biggest meme of the year so far after her on-the-street interview in Nashville went mega-viral for her advice on how to please a man in bed:

After the interview began to take off, the internet launched an all-out manhunt to track down Miss Hawk, who seemed to go off the grid amidst her viral fame.

But of course there’s no way she would be able to stay anonymous for long, and the young lady has since been identified as Hailey Welch – and she’s even selling autographed “Hawk Tuah” merch and reportedly being sought after by top Hollywood talent agencies.

Of course, since she hasn’t spoken out herself, there have been all kinds of rumors about her flying over the past couple weeks. Some people claimed she was a preschool teacher and had been fired from her job over her interview. Others said that her dad was a preacher and was disappointed at his daughter going viral for a sex joke, so that’s why she’s chosen to remain anonymous.

But now she’s setting the record straight.

Hailey gave her first interview since going viral, sitting down with Brianna Chickenfry of Barstool Sports for her Plan Bri Uncut podcast. (Brianna is also the girlfriend of Zach Bryan, and Hawk Tuah appeared on stage for “Revival” during her show in Nashville, so it makes sense that she did an interview with Brianna before the show).

During the interview, Hailey cleared up some of the rumors that have spread about her job and her family: Namely, no she wasn’t fired from her job over becoming the “Hawk Tuah” girl:

“I work in a spring factory. I’m not a school teacher.”

And her parents have been nothing but supportive over her viral fame:

“My father is so far from a preacher, he’s crazy. He’s a little offended…

They think it’s so funny. They know how I am though, cause you can never tell what comes out of my mouth. It’s a hit or miss what comes out of my mouth, I just talk out of my ass.”

Of course there are also plenty of creepy dudes on the internet who have been trying to track her down…and making her some pretty weird offers:

“The guy that does my hats, he got offered $600 three days ago for me to spit in a jar and sell it.”

Lots of weirdos out there.

And while she may not be selling jars of her spit, Hailey has since signed with a management team and is looking to capitalize on her viral fame.
