Cop Stops UFO In Weirdest Traffic Stop Ever

A Missouri police officer may have conducted one of the strangest traffic stops of all time: a UFO flying saucer with two humanoids inside.

It was certainly an exciting day on the job for a Missouri sheriff’s deputy.

While on routine patrol, the deputy spotted a flying saucer-type UFO traveling on the highway.

Police Officer Stops UFO

After seeing a strange UFO-shaped vehicle on the highway, the Missouri police officer naturally stopped it for inspection.

However, it was certainly not as inconvenient as stopping a driverless car.

The unconventional car resembled Rick and Morty’s interdimensional cruiser.

According to a post on the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office, the “humanoids” inside the vehicle were also identified as “friendly,” and assured that they “come in peace.”

“You never know what’s going to come through Crawford County, but this one was a little out of the ordinary. These friendly humanoids, who came in peace, are heading west to Roswell, New Mexico for a festival,” the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office wrote.

“We had a brief conversation about his absence from space, his correction, his registration in another state, but he assured us that he would take care of this issue upon his return to Krypton. He was also warned of our strict enforcement of warp speed on highways and the requirement to keep his phasers in stun mode only while traveling,” they added.

It was certainly an unusual traffic stop that turned into a hilarious UFO sighting and first inter-species contact.

Flying saucer approved for road use

In reality, the road-legal flying saucer UFO car was built years ago by Steve Anderson.

Anderson is a mechanic and actor from Indianapolis, Indiana.

Based on a Geo Metro, the drivable UFO retains the original 1.0-litre three-cylinder engine and features an atomic gearbox.

The UFO car was also previously the subject of a video report by Indianapolis news outlet WTHR 13 News.

So this isn’t the first time the custom car has attracted attention online.
