Shania Twain’s husband posts rare emotional message after his wife’s epic Glastonbury performance…

Shania Twain certainly impressed the nation.

When Shania Twain took to the Pyramid Stage for her highly anticipated, legendary performance at this year’s Glastonbury Festival, she was greeted by one of the biggest crowds of the weekend.

Of course, everyone was there to see Shania perform her greatest hits – even if she didn’t arrive on stage on horseback as promised.

Among the many faces in the crowd were many A-list celebrities, including Anya Taylor-Joy and Cara Delivingne.

Clearly grateful for the massive turnout she received at her concert, Shania addressed the audience, saying: “It’s such an honour to be invited.”

But there was one face in the crowd whose support meant the most to Twain: her husband Frederic Thiébaud.

Shortly after his performance ended, Frederic posted a rare message about the occasion in which he exclaimed that his wife was the “best.”

“EXTREMELY PROUD of this incredible woman @shaniatwain for her incredible performance at Glastonbury,” he wrote in the caption.

He posted several photos from his epic performance, showing Shania having just as much fun as the 140,000 people there to watch her.

“You are truly the BEST!!!!! There was so much work and so much talent!!! Congratulations to the entire team around her – you are all exceptional people!!!!!”

Naturally, fans were quick to reiterate how awesome she was, commenting on the post saying, “She CRUSHED IT!!” and that they were “so proud of her!! She deserves it so much.”

No one will fault her for the joy she brought to Glastonbury with hits like ‘Man! I Feel Like A Woman’ and ‘Still The One’, despite several sound issues.

Shania herself reflected on the occasion, tweeting: “Wow @glastofest that was (fucking) amazing!!!”

“140,000 people screaming and singing MAN! I FEEL LIKE A WOMAN! was an experience I will never forget.”

“Thank you so much. I am officially a Glastonbury legend – and a super fan!”

She also shared various clips that her backstage team had taken, when she noticed fans in the crowd wearing her masks.

She was clearly delighted with the whole experience and the fact that so many of the Glastonbury faithful came to see her.

In an interview after her caption dropped, Shania said she was aware of some sound issues.

However, the lasting impression she will have of Glastonbury is one that will remain with her forever, it seems.

“I feel welcome! As an artist, I need validation! I do it for the fans and they have to leave happy (but) they welcomed me and they responded very well and it was a fabulous experience!”
