Meet the 2024 All-Livingston County Baseball Team

It was the year of the catcher in Livingston County baseball.

Limiting the All-Livingston County first team to just one receiver wouldn’t have produced a group representative of the area’s talent this spring, especially if players with less impressive resumes crowded them out to fill open spots.

So, three players who were primarily catchers were selected to the first team. Specifically, Hartland junior Brayden Crowe earned an infield spot because he played some third base, while Brighton senior Carter Gregg earned an infield spot even though he was strictly a catcher.

Pinckney junior Evan McGlothin was expected to be a first-team receiver after making Division 2 All-State first team.

Brighton, which had the longest post-season run by reaching the regional final, leads the county with four first-team selections. Hartland and Pinckney each had three.
