Age of Union Announces Black Hole Experience Coming to North Avenue Beach in Chicago

MONTREAL, July 2, 2024 /PRNewswire/ – Alliance of the Age of Union, the nonprofit environmental organization led by Emmy Award-winning executive producer, global environmentalist and CEO of Lightspeed Commerce Inc. Dax Dasilvaunveils The Black Hole Experiment (BHX), designed exclusively for Age of union by a multidisciplinary artist Kelly Nunes. BHX is touring major festivals and city centres North America with his next and first American stage planned at North Avenue Beach in Chicago Since Friday July 19 has Sunday July 21, 2024 with free entry for the public. The Black Hole Experience is housed in a 53-foot double expandable trailer with an impressive 1,000 square feet of interior space that houses an LED tunnel leading to the Black Hole Projection Chamber where visitors sit, enveloped from every angle by celestial and black hole phenomena. There are two antechambers to wait in and exit with information about the experience and Age of union. The Black Hole Room is inspired by the Spirituality pillar of Dasilva’s book Old unionwhich explores the meaning of spirituality and how it can connect us to our greater purpose in a modern world by seeking light in the darkness, exchanging fear for curiosity, and finding the potential for growth and positive change in the unknown.

BHX fosters a meditative experience that taps into the widespread fascination with the cosmos, rekindled by recent celestial events like the 2024 solar eclipse and observations of the northern lights. By immersing individuals in a visually stunning environment inspired by black holes, Age of union aims to cultivate a sense of wonder and appreciation for the natural world around us, even among those who don’t typically meditate.
