Air India cancels Copenhagen-Delhi flight scheduled for June 30 due to technical and operational reasons, leaving passengers stranded. Revised schedule to be announced soon.

New Delhi, July 2 (PTI) Air India on Tuesday said its flight from Copenhagen to the national capital on June 30 has been cancelled due to technical and operational reasons and the revised schedule would be announced soon.

The airline’s statement comes as many passengers complain of being stranded in Copenhagen due to the flight cancellation.

“Flight AI158 from Copenhagen to Delhi on 30 June was delayed due to technical and operational reasons. Our colleagues on the ground in Copenhagen have made every effort to minimise the inconvenience caused to passengers due to this unexpected disruption,” he said.

The airline said passengers were accommodated in hotels and offered cancellation options with full refunds and free rescheduling.

“We will announce the revised schedule soon,” he added.
