A Surprisingly Heartwarming Message From A Neighbor Makes Women’s Day And We’re Obsessed

Small gestures from people can make a huge difference in someone’s life and this woman would totally agree with that. u/SlapChop shared a photo of a card his wife received from a neighbor and how she hasn’t been able to stop smiling since receiving it. The husband captioned the post, “A nice neighbor sent my wife this card out of the blue. She hasn’t stopped smiling today.” Gestures like these show what it means to live in a good community.

The photo showed the inside of a card and on one side, the neighbor had written, “Hello, I have lived in the neighborhood for over seven years and am an avid gardener. I also thought the house you live in now was so cute. I love that you put up planters and planted all those flowers.” The neighbor then told the neighbor that if she needed any more perennials, she would be happy to share them with her. “I have a lot that I can share to share,” she wrote. She gave her address and continued, “I love seeing other people’s flowers bloom. Stop by if you want to see some.”

The next page read, “Wishing you all the joy and beauty of the season,” with a flower underneath. The neighbor wrote underneath, “Take care and happy gardening! Best, Rebecca.” The post received over 5,000 upvotes on the platform. People loved the woman’s kind gesture. u/CheesyChick commented, “This is so heartwarming! What a lovely gesture from your neighbor. It’s amazing how a simple act of kindness can brighten someone’s day. I hope your wife continues to smile!”

I hope your wife enjoys her new friend and you all have garden parties together.” u/Any-Court9772 expressed: “Oh my gosh, I would definitely make her lemon squares and stop by to see her garden. She looks adorable!”

u/lestatisalive shared: “I would meet her because she is so kind to send a card and her handwriting is amazing. Nobody sends letters these days and it’s so nice to receive a letter from a friend. We should start a pen pal club that is deliberately offline.” u/JazziTazzi said: “Wow! Not only is this a beautiful message, but her handwriting is beautiful! I would definitely go see her and meet this lady!”

In another story, a 5-year-old made an adorable card for his mother and brightened her day. The mother first told a story in the background, revealing that she had a nervous breakdown in front of her child. So the child made a card to cheer her up. The first page of the card had a drawing of a boy climbing a ladder, with the moon and stars drawn above it. Next to the drawing, the child wrote, “I love you to the moon, Mommy.” Inside the card was another drawing of a mother and son holding hands. It read, “Happy Mother’s Day.” Under the drawing, the child wrote her name and wrote “Mommy” under the woman’s picture.
