White House denies Biden plans to withdraw from campaign

At a news conference Wednesday, White House spokeswoman Karine Jean-Pierre denied a New York Times report that President Biden is evaluating whether to continue his reelection campaign. “That is absolutely false,” Jean-Pierre said.

Uh, we weren’t given enough time to get back to that story, just a few minutes, and we asked the president the question, the president responded directly when asked that question, uh, because we said we would and the president said that was not the case, that was absolutely false.
