Is iPad ready for pro use? Nino explores whether iOS and iPadOS are ready for pro use, focusing on the new iPad Pro with Apple’s M4 chip and its performance with Final Cut Pro for iPad. Despite the iPad Pro’s impressive hardware, like its excellent OLED display and innovative wireless connectivity for live streaming from iPhones, iPadOS’ limitations still hamper its full potential for professional workflows.

The iPad Pro’s screen quality is the best Nino has ever seen, and he points out its bright OLED display. However, he pointed out significant software limitations, such as the lack of background processes and a restricted file system, that prevent the device from fully supporting professional editing and multitasking.

Nino also reviews industry updates including the public beta of DaVinci Resolve 19. This update features live camera sync, allowing editors to work on footage as it is being recorded, streamlining workflows using Blackmagic Cloud.
