Nathan Fillion Has a Message for ‘The Rookie’ Fans as Series Announces News About Its Future

Ahead of the Season 6 finale, which airs Tuesday, April 30 on ABC, the network surprised fans with an announcement many have been waiting for. In an exciting reveal made by Variety On April 15, fans learned The recruit The series has been renewed for a seventh season and will return during the 2024-25 television season. Additionally, the outlet said the series is currently riding a wave of success, as the season premiere on February 20 drew “11.9 million viewers across all platforms in Live+35 ratings, its highest audience since 2018.”

As if that wasn’t enough to get people excited, the show took to Instagram to confirm the news to its followers. “🚨 #TheRookie will return for a 7th season on ABC and streaming on Hulu! 🚨,” the official caption read.

Naturally, as The recruit has developed a significant following over the years, and it didn’t take long for viewers to get excited about the arrival of new episodes.

“Congratulations ❤️ Love The recruit “The best show on TV ❤️❤️❤️❤️,” one person said in the comments. “THIS IS WHAT THE BEST SHOW IN THE WORLD DESERVES EVERYONE TO APPLY FOR,” another person shouted. “Yes I can’t wait 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥❤❤❤,” another follower added.
