Things are starting to get very awkward in the Love Island villa as one of the girls makes a huge blunder moments after getting back together.

In dramatic scenes, the islanders finally had to make a decision about who they wanted to be with after the sister villa twist was introduced on Sunday night.

And for one girl, it all becomes too much and she becomes confused when talking to the boy she was in a relationship with before her cheeky visit to Casa Amor.

A series insider told us, “When the girls return to the main villa, things get really awkward when she calls the boy she was in a relationship with before Casa by the wrong name.

“It’s really funny but also really embarrassing.”

The moment is expected to be a light relief in the midst of a very upsetting reconciliation, which even leaves host Maya Jama in tears.

Tonight we will witness a mass slaughter as the islanders are sent home in explosive scenes.

The elimination follows a cheating frenzy in the villas as the boys and girls explored their options.

A source previously said: “The recoupling will shock everyone and no one is safe.

“The reunion of the two villas was explosive – there was a lot of drama and heads will roll.

“The tension was unbearable and viewers will be left speechless as to who will choose whom.

“The infamous Casa recoupling will cause chaos and has completely disrupted the villa and relationships.

“A number of islanders have already been evacuated from the villa and are on their way back.”

Love Island last night saw its highest overnight audience since its launch, with 1.4 million viewers tuning in. The series also attracted 449,000 viewers aged 16-34, the biggest overnight audience for the series so far.
